Life can HURT ya real bad. Oh yeah, I’m talking literally. We had PE yesterday and we were torn from our limbs! push ups - we had to do way more than CAPACITY is defined. Today was just hell! I couldn’t do anything with my arms coz it would hurt like hell in the chest muscles, and biceps, triceps, and what-the-heck-else-ceps. It still hurts so much now… =’( oh well.. &nbspWe had The Iliad for English. It was fun since we got to watch TROY.. Ma’am said it was Paris’ face that could launch the thousand ships in THAT movie (I beg to disagree). I really like the names in Greek mythology stuff - Paris, Meneleus, Achilles, Apollo, Hektor (with a ‘K’), Agamemnon etc. They just sound so.. so.. bold and striking (?) ha. Then for Physix we watched some parts of The Fast and the Furious, and 2fast 2furious. Oh yeah, and some anime thing I don’t know. (It really bothers me how people can be so into something while others are just clueless) I believe that was the better part of the class.. &nbspOh yeah, I’ve decided to catch up with the Admission for the Ateneo. After I’ve decidedly said a firm NO a few weeks ago, I guess minds really can change.. =) So now my pending applications will be at UP, DLSU taft and dasma, and ADMU. I still don’t know what other school’s I’ll be applying to. I’m just sitting on the idea that hopefully I get into the school of MY priority. It’s just going to be horrible to study somewhere I don’t want. Apply din kaya ako sa UST? Aaargh! whatever blogging I do here is not taking away the pain… oh the pain!!! (OA ko noh?) okee, good bye! *ouch*

College Campus Tour June 25, 2004

Since I wasn’t able to blog on the day of our campus tour-slash-field-trip last july 20, i’ll just post it anyway.
&nbspWe had to wake up sooo early last tuesday. It was our greatly awaited career field trip (not that there was much reason to await it). We were supposed to be at school at around 5:45 so that we could leave for the first university destination at 6:00 am. I got up at around 5:10 am then left for school at 5:35 (most people see that as an impossibility). The buses were already parked in front of the gate and each section got up to their respective buses. Both had incredibly huge “glider” signs on their sides [talk about weird]. The bus ride was kinda fun. I sat beside Meya in the middle part of the bus. Cameras are really great things.

I’ve decided to call this shot “smile”. haha joke. there’s bea, agats, armie, gia and juju way behind them.. singit! hehe

We arrived at UP at 7:30 am. Since the arrangements were for 8:00 am, we had to wait around a little in the bus. more pictures!!

When the campus guide came, we were toured while in the bus. Who’d be crazy enough to walk around 400 hectares of land? The off to the Ateneo! grabe, magkatabi lang pala yun! We were given a presentation on the facilities and courses available at the Ateneo. It was FREEZING COLD inside their auditorium-like presentation room. It was like sitting on an ice cube inside a freezer! Oh well, I was defrosted soon afterward. Their library was humongous! not so much compared to the library of UP and UST, but still, big.then lunch..

then UST. We were sorta late for our UST appointment but it was okay. we were made to wait in the chapel (noisy much!) and then on some benches under some trees, taking pictures again. [i’ll just post the pics separately] Nothing much happened at UST coz we didn’t get a chance to go around that much.. just to the museum. The last stop was DLSU taft/manila. We had a tour there and was it freaky. I would’ve enjoyed it more if I wasn’t in school uniform. People were coming up to us asking what school we were or if we were La Salle Zobel (mind boggling?!?). We saw all the buildings.. the Yuchengko building, the sports complex thingy.. and ALL their cafeterias. I even saw people I knew there and several of the many alumni from Manresa.

Then going-home time came. And the rest was history… Ü
