Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble, Old Imported Entries , add a commentjust tuesday. nothing much out of the ordinary happened. this morning I got up at roughly 6:00, took a bath, drank my daily glass of milk then went to school. before class started, meya was all bouncy with moves. Unfortunately, I wasn’t at the “meeting” yesterday, apparently along with several others from Avail, so I don’t know the “stuff” they did.
HRC time, we were shown our quiz results in Physics.. golly, just golly. The subjects just went on by. Lunch time though, I had detail at the library post at 11:50, so I was there.. detailing. I was supposed to be checking the library cards of everyone going in, yeah, like that’s really a possibility.
Unexpected event - PE mastery tests! miss gregs just announced that we were going to have our mastery tests right then and there. there were these stations which we were going to go around and just do the tests at each station. Personally I thought that it was definitely easy, except for the sit-and-reach test, and the push ups. like, pain repetition! okay, whatever.
we watched this movie “the secret life of zoey” during health time. we didn’t get to finish it coz there wasn’t enough time. It’s about this girl who is a straight-A student, obedient, proper, in short perfect but also the perfect liar. when she says she’s going to the library, she goes partying, takes drugs, hangs out with her boyfriend, shoplifts, steals money from her mom’s purse.. that kind of stuff. basically she’s just another lost teenage-soul.
oh, and besides the “just tuesday”, it’s also MON-MON’S BIRTHDAY today! hehe. so now I’m the only fourteen-year old in the class. c=

Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble, Old Imported Entries , add a commentIt’s Over with. My goodness. I believe I won’t be alone in saying the CSAT was harder than the UPCAT. It’s just the question of having the highest percentile now.
We had no classes today. We just had a mass in honor of Beata Candida’s feast day. I liked the priest. He was really funny.=) anyway, after the mass, I went home with my sister. I was supposed to go to a meeting with the ******** squad but nobody would be here to accompany my sis. The ******** had the meeting at Marla’s place. I don’t really know where that is. So I spent the afternoon finishing the script for our musical West Side Story. I’m so excited! I’m really looking forward to starting practices already. I’m not sure when that’ll be but hopefully it’ll be on some NOT hectic time like with cheering practices or intrams or something.
Speaking of the musical play, I’m one of the scriptwriters since I suggested the title. The other suggestions were Little Mermaid, Moulin Rouge.. anyway, Kim’s the producer, Gia the choreographer (of course!) and Karen and Resti for Maria and Tony! So hopefully the play would turn out okay. There’r already huge plans for the production.
It’s raining today. Sort of sad-mood switch. Still, who can be gloomy when thinking of West Side Story! c= Oh yeah, and a plus in the mass was sitting in front and getting to… never mind. secret!! hehe. [ooh, ask me if you wanna know, but I doubt if I’ll tell.. really]
Sir Nyek’s asking me to download the Lupang Hinirang video thingy they show in the movie houses before the feature starts. I can’t seem to find it anywhere online, on file, archive, posts, wherever! Ruben kasi eh! tinuro pa ako!

It’s really weird how one sms can bring both sarcasm, anger, information, and guilt to the receiver. haha! joking! oh wellie, good night! hafta sleep now! c=

second entry. I was just in bed a while ago and found out the hard way how it is to have an itch that doesn’t actually itch. It’s just psychological, I guess.
I forgot to mention in my first entry all about my fascinating encounter with a lizard. yeah, a lizard. Yesterday it was raining real hard. Okay, so the rain has nothing to do with the lizard. Let me rephrase. Yesterday, a lizard was scurrying up on the ceiling. Perhaps it just wanted to avoid the rain on the other side of the wall so it crept inside. A few minutes later, we saw it dangling from a crack in the ceiling by its tail. It was jiggling at wriggling all about, maybe helplessly attempting to shout out his last will and testament. A few hours later, we saw it stiff, still hanging by its tail from the crack in the ceiling.
The intentions of the brave lizard, we will never know. For he has silently left this world without anyone to bury his stiff body as a sign of dignity.
My goodness, whatever has gotten into me?! I am writing like some old chap in a home for the aged. Oh well, I better go now, before my old classic goes into shock (did I make any sense at all in that? I guess not.)

UPCAT day 1 August 7, 2004

I hope it is.Ãœ My schedule for the test is not till tomorrow so I’ve got some time. It’s at 6:30 in the AM and I’d have to wake up at around 3:30 just so we could get there early. Now I’m supposed to be studying but people say it’s better to just relax.. so i’m relaxing.
I took Computer Science for my first choice in UP Diliman and UP Los Baños. Then BS Mathematics for my second choice.. I don’t know what exactly possessed me to do that. I also applied for UST, BS Computer Science and Information Technology.. which is I don’t know what.
Today’s supposed to be the last day of review in our school but I think it was better that I study on my own the things I still don’t know than to just keep repeating things I already am familiar with..

UPCAT day 1 August 7, 2004

I hope it is.Ãœ My schedule for the test is not till tomorrow so I’ve got some time. It’s at 6:30 in the AM and I’d have to wake up at around 3:30 just so we could get there early. Entrance Exam Simulation August 2, 2004

I took my dry-run/simulation college entrance test thingy yesterday at MSA then to Richville to get the results and discuss the answers. My score was just great - 195 out of 365.. although they said that 60% and above have a big chance in the UPCAT. (yeah, right!) I got the lowest in Chemistry (ehem!) and the highest in Abstract Reasoning. The Logical test thing was the FUNNIEST. There’s this item - All basketball players are cool. All Vacations are cool. Therefore, all basketball players are vacations. I could have exploded with laughter right then and there! I mean, it is my area of expertise.. PHILOSOPHY (pilosopo po..) oh well, I don’t want to relive that traumatic experience anymore.Ãœ
Today we had the usual school stuff.. except for the launching of buwan ng wika. Personally, I think that it’s just so ridiculous. In our detail, we have to greet officers in Filipino “binibini, magandang umaga, binibini” ~ duh. We even have to say prayers in the language we speak most of the time.
In computer we were just given time to finish our projects. Since I was already done with the actual thing, I just had to finish the flowchart of process. Uhuh, whatever. That was OH-SO-MUCH-HARDER and intellectually stimulating. Filipino time, we had a long quiz on Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda. Long as in 45 items. Math time, some head-aching stuff. (I can’t believe Math’s my favorite subject) English/IMC time, we just researched for our Investigative project - Virtual Reality ~ so cool! THE time, just some “interest” problems. Physics (fave!), we watched something about the universe and its origins and we just discussed how the world would end if some blackhole would travel towards our galaxy and suck everything into it.. that kinda stuff. okee, that’s all for now, ciao!
