You Had a Bad Day September 23, 2005
Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble, Old Imported Entries , add a commentdefine bad day… yesterday. for the first time in a very LONG time, i left the house a bit early so that i could get to class ahead of time. well guess what, sarado MRT! haha! it turns out there was this accident thing that happened at the cubao station so i only got as far as shaw boulevard.. well then i took the bus and yes, i WAS late for english. but that’s okay. i never bothered for english class anyway. i feel it’s a waste of time. it’s not as if i can’t speak the language, i can, in fact, very well speak it. 
then on the way home, i assumed everything was all fixed up (coz the damn thing already happened before).. but no, it wasn’t. i had to take the bus home.. turns out it takes 2 and a half hours when traveling by bus from quezon city to SUCAT! golly gee. it was a good thing my mp3 player had fresh batteries and i was in a relatively jolly mood… so actually, it was quite enjoyable. just sitting.. DOING NOTHING for 2 and a half hours.. 
if you can believe. haay. anyway..
okay.. so more on today. today i had only one class. that’s nat.sci from 8-10. dammit. i had to go all the way to school just to attend one class. howel. so on monday i only have english class and comp.sci.. then no more classes til friday. happy! it’s an early sembreak! my sembreak’s been extended by like 1 week! haha! really happy. well, i can’t seem to make this entry as interesting and (according to cheka) “inspiring” as the previous one.. i’ll just stop. haha! stop.

Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble, Old Imported Entries , add a commenti decided to take the bus home from the mrt station yesterday, instead of the usual shuttle that goes straight to bf. i dunno, i guess i was just too lazy to walk the fair distance. well anyway, i was on the bus when this lolo sat beside me and just smiled. it wasn’t the scary stranger-smile that would often strike an everyday-commuter, it was one of those smiles that would remind you of the close-up commercial (which is supposedly an everyday thing). so then he starts lecturing on how hard life is these days, and how i have to just work hard and study extra well so that i could graduate and help my parents. it was a pleasant conversation (a bit one-sided though cause he was the only one doing the talking alangan naman kausapin ko eh di ko nga kilala). when we got off the bus at sucat he kept reminding me to take care (even gave me some commuter advice on where to ride the jeep..). then yun, he had to go the nearby 7-11 shop and i rode the jeep. well di ko maiwasan talaga mapa-smile ako sa jeep (mukang sira) coz it was really nice to think na may ganun pa palang tao sa pilipinas.. sa mundo. my mom always tells me to be paranoid and think everyone’s a robber or something (better-safe-than-sorry mentality) but i really think otherwise. there are more good-hearted people than not-good-hearted people in the world. victims of street-crimes are only victims of circumstance, in the wrong place at the wrong time.. but that’s just one person’s opinion.
hai.. the sem’s almost over. i could already get away with cutting all the rest of my classes till next week coz it’d be our last week for the sem.. but then again, i’d fail the finals and i’d have to repeat some stuff next sem.. i’m not that retarded.. so anyway.. i suddenly have the urge to like start-out-new and stuff.. that start-of-the-school-year feeling people get when they think they can try their best, do homework, study hard and stuff. well that’s it. but i think that’s just a feeling. palagi namang ganyan eh, tignan mo nangyari this sem.. haha! tanong na lang sa mga kaklase ko.. blah..
what do i have to say on:
politics: nada. i don’t give a shit.
the state of the nation: well i do care about that.. but i really don’t have a clue how this place’s gonna fix itself up. pinas is beyond repair. let’s all migrate.. like them ducks flying to the south.. it is winter.
friends: i love my friends. i love those who love me. i love those who haven’t forgotten that i still exist.. i love those who keep in touch. i love those who make me feel that they’re still there for me, coz i’m sure as hell there for them. oki?
school: nasabi ko na. oh and yeah, next sem i think i’m gonna join an org or something. para naman di ako totally WALANG GINAGAWA. yun lang
lovelife: ha! don’t ask.
showbiz: a dirty game i’d never want to be an audience of.ﾃつ bahala na yung mga nauuto ng bwisit na showbiz na yan, lalo na pag dito sa pilipinas.. haha!

Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble, Old Imported Entries , add a commentyesterday i was walking along some stree on my way to meet joelle for lunch. i passed by the preschool near the church and heard kids singing some nursery song. it was so loud it could be heard across the street. well for some reason it was really uplifting.. i could see the other people passing by smiling and glancing casually toward the source of the cheery voices. so i got to thinking. no matter how complicated, sad, or even hopeless a life can be, you just need a little ’something’ to brighten up their day. di kelangang super bongga or something.. just a simple event in someone’s day canﾃつ change their outlook in life.
music has also been that ’something’ for me.. on my way to school, when in the bus or mrt or whatever, i always listen to music on my mp3 player.. pansin ko pag upbeat or something yung songs i always start the day out with a smile.. di ko sinasadya pero the super simple things can lift that pout of mine.. 
pag minsan naman mejo senti yung songs, napapasenti rin ako.. (like now.. i think..) hehe. but anyway.
so ive just finished p.e kanina.. as usual, the table tennis 2-hr marathon.. hehe. (i won one game with my partner richard! na taga-laspiﾃδｱas din pala.. lolz.. hehe) but i can’t go home yet coz there’s this talk / seminar / watchamacallit at 1pm. My prof in Philosophy’s gonna be one of the speakers so im sorta required to watch.. (in all honesty –> blech) if im gonna spend my 4 hours listening to someone talk, i’d rather listen to the voice of my friends.. haha w/c reminds me of yesterday’s laugathon.. laf-a-thon i had lunch with joelle and some of her eng1 classmates yesterday.. what a wacky bunch. tawa lang kami ng tawa. parang mga sira ulo sa vinzons. then nung afternoon, since absent prof namin sa Philo we headed to the engineering bldg for some snacks.. andun yung ibang ka-block ni joelle (wawa talaga ako, i’ve never met any of my blockmates ever! haha! just once nung start of the school year =P) and then hulaan nyo.. yeap, tawa ulit hanggang magaka “six PACKS” kami (quoted from Red.. ang SL..)
i kinda miss that kind of bonding thing with my friends. in highschool we’d hang out everyday, every minute possible spent always together.. then yeah, the laughing part din.. pero it’s good to know na di pa kami totally separated. still friends, the best of them.

break ko nanaman eh.. from 10 am kanina to 1pm later.. this is every tuesday at friday.. kaya mejo magastos ako on those days, kasi kain, internet, sakay ng jeep (ikooot ikooot) haha! i could be in the library… but i know im just gonna be texting or listening to mp3s there, so what’s the use? (nod please… as if to say “yes, you’re right..” haha!) well anyway.. i was with my friend kanina after nat.sci.. gutom.. hehe.. nag-suggest siya to eat at this place sa kamia dorm, yung may rice in a box daw.. haha! when we got there, shawarma ang nandun! AHAHAHA! and since hindi pa ako nakatikim ng shawarma ever, at siya rin daw, kain naman kami.. isa lang masasabi ko.. eeyuch!
ﾃつ as in yuck talaga. puro naman kasi onions yung nandun, and tomatoes, and cucumber (or pickles? ahaha i dunno…) i don’t eat those.. ewww.. haha! (so arte ha..) then yun.. i remembered i had to research something for philo (take-home EXAM.. oh diba?!) kaya nandito ako ngayon, nag-iinternet, HINDI nagreresearch.. katamad eh..ﾃつ hehe.. you know me..
eh kasi naman noh, the topic of the argument thingy na gagawin namin is about the legalization of same-sex marriage in the philippines.. pweht.. not a very interesting topic.. kung sana ba naman eh mejo nakakastimulate (like something about education, or the financial crisis.. edi naatat na ko at nagsimula na…… well actually hinde.. but that’s not the point.)
(tapos na break ng la salle peeps.. ) hehe. di na ko tatransfer dun! haha! (well di naman talaga.. just sayin..) as in aral talaga kasi dun eh..
kahit naman sang school eh.. pero at least dito sa peyups nakakalusot ako ng supper konti lang effort sa aral.. (yun nga lang mejo on the low ang grades ko ngayon.. haha!) but at least… i’m not throwing my life out the window for some “fairly passing” grade.. sinwerte talaga ako sa course ko.. haha! i know mejo di tama attitude kong ‘to.. eh wala ako magagawa eh.. ito ako eh..
