A day of many FIRSTS. February 15, 2006
Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble , trackbackjust got home a while ago. i think that’s the latest ever. so anyway. today’s wednesday. I usually don’t go anywhere on wednesdays coz I don’t have classes. It’s also usually the only time i get to sleep in as late as i want coz no one’s home to bug me about getting up. But unfortunately this wednesday I did not get that luxury. I got up at around 8 AM or something. I had to go to DLSU Taft, give Vincent his newly purchased MP4 player. So I met up with Clauds at Lopez at around 10 am and we went to taft together. I wouldn’t have been able to go there alone.. :P That was the first time I’d ever gone to Manila via whatever-you-call-that-route. After transactions had been done, and business over with, blah blah, I had to go to Diliman next. Having never traveled from La Salle to U.P, I actually had no idea how to go about doing that besides the two-worded phrase LRT-MRT. So Vincent showed me to where I was to ride the LRT.. and that was it. A first.
Unusually enough, I wasn’t really scared or anything about traveling unknown teritory on my own. I guess it was even kind of exciting. Bahala na kung mawala ako, manakawan, madapa, whatever. LOL. It was also my first time to set foot on an MRT station beyond the Quezon Ave - Ayala interval I spend my days traveling. Wow. wala lang.
I got to UP a little past 12. The other apps weren’t at CURSOR tambayan. I decided to get more missions for missions week. Some of it included buying lunch for K, plugging in a laptop adaptor for Bullet, and some other kind of easier missions. At 1:30 Joelle and the others came. We went to the CHK gym to watch Aydz’ basketball game. (part of Joelle’s missions) We cheered and yelled, greeted Aydz happy birthday and all that.. :P blahdiblahdiblah.
A lot more happened after that but I just can’t seem to recall any more. *skip*
I still hadn’t gotten any solicitations for Jerry. So Joelle and I decided to go to Gateway, Cubao to get some solicitations and also buy Onion Rings for Renz at Burger King. We got there and then I suddenly got second thoughts about the whole asking for Solicitations thing at GATEWAY. I thought maybe I could just do it some other place with less established establishments..(ooh, oxymoron..) anyway, we got the Onion rings, foodtrip-ped, then I went home. First time I ever went home from Cubao alone. Wow. wala lang. It’s also the first ever time I got to Ayala station and found the SM-Glorietta shortcut already closed. dammit. It was then that I realized I had no idea how to get to the Landmark terminal apart from that SM-Glorieta route. So I went out of the MRT station, went around the SM walls, turned here, turned there.. saw Park Square 1, thought that was it.. It wasn’t. I had to go around so many times before I finally found the side of Glorietta 2, and the familiar pedestrian lane leading to the Landmark terminal. So I got on the shuttle.. sat beside the door. A few minutes later I opened the door for the passenger and saw it was Daddy. homaygooshnit. At least it wasn’t THAT late. So yeah yun..
btw, my Philips’ earphones are wrecked (I loved those earphones, *sniff*. The left speaker ain’t working anymore. Same thing happened to my Sony earphones. Always the left. What’s with the left?! Ohwel. I have new ones now. Haha. :P
I feel sleepy. Have so much to do, don’t have time to do any of it. Being the loser student I am, I shall put all of it off for tomorrow. And do the same thing over and over again till I find there is no choice but to cram. Shiyet. Good luck to me. :P Good night.
