I Remember Why I Love Reading April 26, 2006

I visited Thea’s blog the other day.. There I saw “The Horse and His Boy” (Book Three in the Chronicles of Narnia). I finished reading that (for the nth time) quite a long time ago, I think.. but I suddenly had the urge to read it again, for a lack of anything better to do.. :P So yeah, I’m at about half of it.. (darned math exam made me stop reading it).

I just love reading fiction books and finding the words of the author meaning something besides what it appears to mean. And that’s something that’s changed about my interest in reading lately.. When I was younger I used to enjoy these books for the story.. now all I see is what the writer was trying to say by telling the story. It’s quite enjoyable. But nevertheless, I still enjoy the story very much. Hai.

Well.. yun lang. There’s nothing new in my life right now.. there’s just math and what happens before and after math. Hopefully after summer classes I’ll get to relax and forget about freakin’ math for a few days before school starts again.

1 week of mathness down. 3 more to go.. haha! grabe talaga. I think naapektuhan na ng excessive math ang sanity ko. biruin mo ba naman, ginawa ko assignment ko sa service pauwi. kung hindi ba naman adik.. :P haha.. but anyway, ok na rin siguro yun.. at least may pag-asa nang maipasa ko ang bwisit na math na yan.. :P hehe.

weird, wala pa rin ako sa mood mag-blog ng mahaba. tomorrow na lang. sabado.. :P haha! sige, good night.. :D

Summer classes started yesterday. And to much dismay, I realized that it was NOT going to be a good summer.

*tinanggal ko ang tinayp ko kanina na sobrang haba sa takot na mabasa ito ng hindi dapat makabasa. basta tungkol yun sa malaking KAMALASAN namin ni Joelle sa math53.. :P haha

Anyway… You would not believe what I was doing just 5 minutes ago… MATH. wahaha! ang saya saya. I’m doing math homework.. :P very unusual. But hey, di na ako pwedeng bumagsak ulit. Babay Eng’g na.. :P Hai.

Hayayay, wala akong gana mag-blog ng mahaba ngayon.. :P haha! next time na lang ulit.. Gushbay.. :P

Yes! School starts again tomorrow. (Yeah, the summer classes I have to take because I friggin failed math) Finally I have a reason to get out of the house and, well, go somewhere.. :P hehe.

Something’s been bugging me all day. I don’t know what. Basta I can’t seem to find peace of mind. Grrr.

Anyway, all week I’ve been watching DVDs, owing to the lack of cable TV of course.. So here’r some titles from my recent views:

School starts next week. Although my summer vacation hasn’t been a total waste, I’m sorta looking forward to starting classes again. There’s nothing quite like waking up everyday knowing you have something to do.. (unless you’re lazy of course) So yeah, I hope the weekend would hurry up and be done with.. I wanna be back in School kahit Math 53 pa ang nakaabang sa akin, wala akong paki.. Plus, there’s allowance.. ehehe.. =)

I’ve finished reading Veronika Decides To Die and Tuesdays With Morrie already. They were both really insighful and full of life lessons. It’s kinda different from the kind of books I usually read (horror, fantasy, etc) but they were okay. I’m gonna read Eleven Minutes by Paolo Coelho also sometime soon. I was intrigued by his writing techniques from reading The Alchemist and Veronika Decides to Die. But they’re all really great reads. Especially since I haven’t really read a book in so long.. =P hehe.
