Humid Afternoon Delight August 31, 2006
Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble , add a commentWoops! There goes the physics pav.. I though as the UP Toki vrooomed past the Physics Pav. I had no plans of attending my physics class though.. my head was in the process of splitting into two from a sudden headache of humongous proportions. So I just toki-ed on to the dorm.. and plopped right onto my bed. Oh the perks of dorming. Slept for a couple of hours. And now my head still hurts. Woe is me!
But! Headaches are headaches. So my head aches. Nothing I can do about it except go on typing and straining my eyes on the glare of my monitor in the surrounding pre-evening darkness here in our room. Gad! It’s so effin hot here! Well, I’d figure it’s coz all the electric fans are off, and all the windows are shut. Ha ha.
A nice (well, not really “nice” per se) thought I picked up in English class today.. (Yes, the same bullsh*tty english class I go to to get my daily dose of “put*ang *na”s and other cuss words from my very respectable professor) Coz see, we were in the middle of discussing (no, criticizing with utter hatred) some topic when this guy suddenly shouts something from across the hall. of course we were all startled by the loudness of his voice. And then sir Edel goes “Taga-bundok yan eh. Diba ganun yun? Yung mga taga-bundok kasi ang sumisigaw ng ganyan eh.” (Like woah!) Then of course he shares some wisdom along with that insult. That those who are from the mountains are those who need to shout to be heard, because they don’t have power. Those in middle classes and those who have power need only whisper. Society listens more to them. (More psychological bull here but ya know.. I found that on itself a cute piece of insight. haha)

Ick. I just finished eating dinner. I think that mushroom sauce or whatever it was that went with the chicken was a bit too heavy for me. My headache’s gone, but now I wanna puke. :P

Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble , add a commentIsda ulit ang pesteng ulam. For the nth time, I do not like fish! especially when it’s fried! and salty! haha! wala lang. naglabas lang ng frustration. (Dulot ito ng gutom, pagbigyan)
This morning we had the CS21 Quiz Bee! Yay! Well actually, I just joined the friggin thing to get the 10 pt incentive. Haha. That was the deal for our class. Those who joined would get 10 pts, and then another 10 pts for the entire class if the winning team came from our section. Unfortunately, hindi ako karapat-dapat na sumali. Wala akong alam. haha. I didn’t have the will power to study anything at all last night. I just spent it tinkering with the very fast (take note of the dripping sarcasm here) internet connection we have here. Went to bed at around 3am already.
So anyway. I got up at around quarter to 8, took a bath.. then rushed to Eng’g bldg with dripping hair thinking that I was already late for the thing. (It was supposed to start at 8:30) . So I got there… andun pa sila Jen sa lobby. Gooshness, we started nearly 10 already. haha. Anyway, to cut the long story short.. di kami nanalo. Team nila Marte from MHRU ang nanalo. Ohwell, I got the 10 points anyway. :P
Then this afternoon I played Game of the Generals for our team in our dorm’s sportsfest! woohoo! haha. (There is something wrong here.. me volunteering for activities like this. haha) Ayun, after almost 2 years of not playing the brilliant game, I won! I won! haha. And I am still ecstatic. haha. Ang babaw ko na talaga.
And then there’s the stinking pile of acads that’s coming alive in the corner. It’s been a while since I touched that pile. As well as the pile of other crummy duties I have. Haha. I promise to do it all tomorrow. Wahehe.
And now I am still hungry. Pesteng isda yan. :P

Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble , add a commentohmaygoodness. finally! after like 10 years of waiting.. we have internet. not that it’s the fastest connection in the world, but still, it’s a connection. and i’ve waited for this page to load for the last 30 mins or so. i can’t even download YM in a *snap*. it’s been stuck at 3% for the loooongest time.
hai. i have missed my blog so.. SOOOO MUCH has happened since my last entry. oh, and i’m seventeen!!! doesn’t feel that different from being sixteen. haha. YET.
ohmy, i can’t seem to gather my thoughts right now. blog about EVERYTHING at another time. my MP asm file is still screaming at me to modify it na. haha. so far i have “.model small” typed up. good luck naman. haha. it’s due sept.12.. like less than 2 weeks from now. good grief. ohwell.
gad ang dami ko nang ikkwento! haha. next time na lang. k? good night people! i have sooo missed the online world. :P

That’s exactly what’s happening here.
Pero anyway, buhay pa naman ako.. it’s been a long time since I last blogged. Di ko na maalala lahat ng mga pangyayari since then.. masyado nang marami.
Acads.. hmm mejo uki uki pa naman.. (keyword here: PA) I’m just NOT looking forward to August 23.. Math Midterms, Physics 2nd Long Exam, and whatever else acads meron na sabay-sabay nun. Helllleeeer.
Oh yeah.. excited na ba daw ako? Bday tomorrow. haha. di pa rin ako legal. Illegal pa ko. :P wahehe kidding. Excited? nah.. ano bang meron? wala, tumanda lang ako. haha. Joke. Siyempre naman masaya ang bday ko basta kasama family and fwends ko.. :D hehe. Yuck cheesy..

Nawala kasi yung aking ever trusty notebook sa Physics Pav the other week. And with it, the happy blue gel-like cover thing dun.. at yung name tag na tinago ko from 3rd year highschool pa. And of course andun din ang beloved MATH at PHYSICS notes ko! Ohwell. No use getting caught up in the inexistent. ?
It’s been a hectic week. Math exam nung wednesday (and boy! huwat an exam it was!), prob set in physics that we didn’t really finish before the deadline. Getaway and Trustwalk namin ng aking bit. At kung anu-ano pang kalokohan na ating itago sa pangalang “acads”. (Ano daw? haha.) But it was kinda fun. It’s always fun… basta may karamay ka sa kahirapan. hahaha. (ang mean)

Hai buhay. Last year I was SO very sure I would graduate on time. Haha! Ask me now what year I’m gonna graduate.. I’ll just stare at you with a blank face.. or possible exhale a (HA!) or something. It’s not as easy as it seems. It IS fun though.. and having an org is a good bonus.. Woohoo!
Hai. And on the matter of my confusion.. I’m not THAT confused anymore. –> bahala na. :) Showing na Miami Vice! =) At ANT BULLY! at ! ewan! haha. I wanna watch a movie.. :P
