Humid Afternoon Delight August 31, 2006
Posted by Mayee in : Daily Babble , trackbackWoops! There goes the physics pav.. I though as the UP Toki vrooomed past the Physics Pav. I had no plans of attending my physics class though.. my head was in the process of splitting into two from a sudden headache of humongous proportions. So I just toki-ed on to the dorm.. and plopped right onto my bed. Oh the perks of dorming. Slept for a couple of hours. And now my head still hurts. Woe is me!
But! Headaches are headaches. So my head aches. Nothing I can do about it except go on typing and straining my eyes on the glare of my monitor in the surrounding pre-evening darkness here in our room. Gad! It’s so effin hot here! Well, I’d figure it’s coz all the electric fans are off, and all the windows are shut. Ha ha.
A nice (well, not really “nice” per se) thought I picked up in English class today.. (Yes, the same bullsh*tty english class I go to to get my daily dose of “put*ang *na”s and other cuss words from my very respectable professor) Coz see, we were in the middle of discussing (no, criticizing with utter hatred) some topic when this guy suddenly shouts something from across the hall. of course we were all startled by the loudness of his voice. And then sir Edel goes “Taga-bundok yan eh. Diba ganun yun? Yung mga taga-bundok kasi ang sumisigaw ng ganyan eh.” (Like woah!) Then of course he shares some wisdom along with that insult. That those who are from the mountains are those who need to shout to be heard, because they don’t have power. Those in middle classes and those who have power need only whisper. Society listens more to them. (More psychological bull here but ya know.. I found that on itself a cute piece of insight. haha)

Ick. I just finished eating dinner. I think that mushroom sauce or whatever it was that went with the chicken was a bit too heavy for me. My headache’s gone, but now I wanna puke. :P
