Out of Reach December 20, 2006

Just came home a few minutes ago from Festival Mall. I was with Joelle. We watched Happy Feet. Honestly I was a bit disappointed at the movie, it wasn’t as good a movie as I had been hoping it would be. I guess the trailers were promoting a better movie than what actually was.
But before I go on I shall narrate the events that transpired before this happy trip. I was up until about 4:30 this morning, putting finishing touches on my MP in CS32 that has been long overdue. And even though I was up that late I still didn’t finish the docs and everything. To make a long story short, I finished the damn thing at around 12 noon, then left for U.P. to submit.. then came back home. It took me a good 5 hours to go to diliman and back, really. What a waste of time. Good grief.
Well anyway, at around 6:30 I went to Festival to meet with Joelle.. then happy feet, then a little strolling along the mall.. then finally settled at Seattle’s Best Coffee, where we spent a fair 2 and a half hours just talking. Talking about life, love, the absence of christmas spirit due to excessive bitterness. Yes, I am still bitter. I don’t know about what exactly, but that’s just the way it is. Sometimes people get bitter. Haha.
Then on Friday it’s CURSOR’s Christmas Party. Something I think I’m looking forward to if it were not for the big amount I would have to shell out just to come. But it’s all good. A party’s a party.
Whatever happened to “the best things in life are free?”
Darn. I haven’t even finished my Christmas Shopping yet and the parties are pouring in. Even to this I am a procrastinator. *Sigh* When will I ever learn. New Year’s Resolution? I hope.
That’s it for now, I have more to say but I have already written it down in my journal, so.. nevermind. =P heehee. Goodnight. 5 days on the Countdown.
